It was a fun project and very sucessful if I do say myself.DownloadGreets: codelogic, bsrour, hop, robohak, jvc, synex, youngdrow, shade, psykotyk, panasync ,trey and eveyrone else who helped out with my projects

here are the changes since the last release.
BitchX is available from ftp.bitchx.org or ftp.bitchx.com
1. How do I get cypresss to autoload when I start BitchX?
Make a file in your ~/ directory called '.bitchxrc' in this file type the following: eval load $HOME/cyp/cyp.bx Then next time you load BitchX, cypress should autoload.
2. Why does cypress crash on me when I try and load it?
cypress is only compatible with BitchX versions 75 and higher. So if it doesn't load, then check your version of BitchX. If you have the current version of BitchX and cypress still wont load make sure that BitchX was compiled correctly on your system. We have had some reports of script failure on Digital UNIX releases. Also gcc3.2 and gcc3.2.1 has an optimiser bug which when using a BitchX bin compiled with these, loading cyp will crash BitchX when the script is 50% loaded. Either upgrade to gcc 3.2.2 or downgrade to 2.95 or recompile BitchX with the following: CFLAGS="-fno-strength-reduce -O2 -g" ./configure && make clean && make If you still have questions about this please find void on irc or email him at void@mindcryme.com
3. How come it takes forever to load cypress?
cypress loads at different speeds on different machines, we are sorry if you have to wait 20 seconds because you have a 50mhz computer. There is nothing that can be done about this, although we are looking into it.
5. Can I copy portions of your code?
Anyone may copy portions of my code. But please give credit where it is due. And of course I didn't write all my code, so any code that I copied please give credit to the original author.
6. Where can I get future versions of cypress?
You can get the most timely updates via irc, #BitchX or You might also want to check out http://www.mindcryme.com/~void/ for the website and further information.
7. How can I help?
You can help by informing me of bugs and other things that you would like to see in the script. Anything can be helpful, and also your input on new additions are a major factor on there existence in later versions of cypress.
8. Why wont XYZ work?
If you are having problems with a certain function of cypress please find void or codelogic online and let him know your os version, bitchx version, and other system variables; having these will help him in the quest for an answer to your problem.
9. Will cypress work on the win95 port of BitchX?
Yes it will, as long as it's BitchX 75 and up, and you unzip to your ~/ dir which is equivalent to c:\cyp.
10. What are some quick commands I can use to configure it?
Some quick commands are /config /format /color /theme /sbcolor and of course take a look at /chelp for more.
11. How come cypress doesn't log messages, ctcps, etc when I do /away and then /back and /readlog?
The most common question I get is this one. Make sure you didn't install as root, or the file permisions are set right.
12. Are there any war commands in cypress?
No, and there never will be.
13. I untar'd and gzip'd cypress to ~/.BitchX or ~/.scripts or another directory and it won't load.
This is another common question. Cypress HAS to be in ~/cyp or /home/user/cyp otherwise it will not load correctly. All you have to do is untar, gzip it to ~ and then load ~/cyp/cyp.bx.
